Cooper Commons is a massive neighborhood with an unbelievable amount of parks, grass fields, trails, and a private pool available to all residents in the community. If you are seeking out a place to spend countless hours outside, with your family or without, this is the place to do so. The profound vegetation makes an appearance in every part of the neighborhood, creating the perfect place to bike, run, and walk. The several parks in Cooper Commons have a large variation of playground equipment for your children to enjoy with the grassy fields always well-maintained and ready for use. A few of the parks even offer the use of basketball and sand volleyball courts. Towards the middle of the neighborhood, on La Costa and Teresa Drive, there is a swimming pool available from 8 am to 9 pm every day for the residents of Cooper Commons. In the heart of Cooper Commons, Hull Elementary is favorably placed to make getting your little children to and from school extra easy. If you have kids that are older than grades k-6 looking for schools nearby, there is Santan Junior High for grades 7th - 8th. This Junior High is only about a 6-minute drive from Cooper Commons. Another option of schooling is Basha High School which actually offers an advanced middle school program for children in 6th - 8th, along with normal high school courses for teenagers in grades 9th - 12th.

Shopping and Amenities Nearby

Located on either side of  Cooper Commons are the Sunbird golf resort and the Lone Tree golf club. The Sunbird golf resort has 4,384 yards of luscious green grass and obstacles, allowing for a game up to par 66 with 18 holes. While the Lone Tree golf club has 6,894 yards of thick grass and obstacles, with par 71 and up to 18 holes. For those of you who do not like golf, there is the Veterans Oasis park only 4.5 miles from the neighborhood. This park is an outdoor recreational center with a playground, an urban fishing lake, and several trails. It also has a visitors center with pamphlets and educational programs, which teach you about the wildlife and nature in Arizona. If you are in need of shopping for food and other household necessities there is an Albertsons right outside of Cooper Commons, on the corner of Gilbert and Riggs road. Next to the Albertsons, there is a Chase bank, a Corner Store gas station, and a number of dining selections. The nearest shopping center to Cooper Commons is the Crossroads towne center, which is 5 miles away and has a wide selection of clothing and apparel stores.
